Doors at 7:30 is a digital zine celebrating comedy venues and live performance. Made in the spring of 2021, when the first comedy venues were starting to open back up, the zine mixes imagery, written reflections, and other elements to construct a visual testimony to these spaces.
Highlighting a handful of comedy venues and performance spaces in the United States, the zine ruminates on how the dynamism and energy of performance is best captured within a physical space.
The zine includes screen-print, paper lithography, and relief elements that have been remixed into digital collages.
